My expedite was for medical reason. Yes they asked for supporting documents and I faxed them yesterday and got approved today.

@y g my medical reason is my husband tested COVID positive few weeks back and my son got some emergency medical treatment suggested by doctor. So I have to drive my son to get those help. But my driving license got expired and we need it to be renewed so that I can drive. because it was becoming hard for my husband. we were going through lots of problems one after another. I tried to describe that to them and provide all kind of medical documents to support my request. I hope that helps you to understand.
