it’s back and my 130 went from 5 months to 6 months yesterday and now I login and 13 months. 😂😂 I CANT WITH USCIS

I got in FINALLY! Spoke to a live USCIS agent today and they told me that my interview has been waived since September 7th 2023, but I didn’t receive a notification about that in the mail or in my documents online. My I-130 shows 2 months until decision and I-485 shows 5 months on step 3/4 (interview pending) when I know it is waived. So confusing! @w s 🇨🇦🇺🇸 @Patiently Waiting @Lilian A

@Nattlestar 🇨🇦 🤞 yea they can waive your interview but can still call you for one when an agent actually reviews your case for approval… so it’s not waived until you’re approved without an interview. my 485 shows 3 months and my 130 shows 13. one of them is wrong 😂

yea that countdown means nothing. mine has counted down to zero 2x already and now it moved up to 13 months. ignore it lol.

I still look at it but only because I think it indicates that something may have happened (ie it jumped up in timing and that’s when my case was transferred to a field office) but you will see plenty of people that get approved when their time remaining still has 7 months. 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️@Nattlestar 🇨🇦 🤞

@w s 🇨🇦🇺🇸 I only look at it JUST IN CASE there have been uploaded documents mainly. I was told my case was sent to Lousville KY on April 11th and I was told that my case should be approved within the next two months.

I hope it’s quick. I know. I’ve got 100 days on you and I’m close to calling in a favor from a colleague who knows people in govt. it’s crazy when you see people get approved in 3 months then other people take 3 years and it doesn’t seem to make sense why

@w s 🇨🇦🇺🇸 I’ve reached out to the Congressman in Kentucky three weeks ago and my mother also called him from Canada a few days ago. My spouse is in the Navy and I called the USCIS military line this morning and found them to be much more helpful than the regular USCIS line.

@Nattlestar 🇨🇦 🤞 thats a normal countdown but its happened to me twice. thrn both times after 5 weeks went to taking longer than expected and then a new 6 month countdown. mine changed from 6 to 5 to 14 to 6 to 5 to 6 to now 13 months in the last 2 months. that this is bullshit. but I’m happy you get comfort in it
