Switching Jobs While I-485 Processing
I applied for my I-485 back in September. I've heard that it's ok to switch employers (for a same/similar job) after 6 months of the date of filing (for me, Sept + 6 months = March).
I am currently on an H1-B, so I'd need to transfer that over to my new employer (that should not be a problem).
Does anyone have any experience with this? Do I need to file any paperwork before switching? And will it cause any issues in getting my green card? Should I just wait it out?

I’m a EB3 visa and I did I485 since april, on August they asked me a supJ 485 confirming that my offer was still available. If the offer was not available or I was going to switch jobs there is a process. As an advise take a look at that form
