Switching from STEM OPT EAD to GREENCARD EAD
I am currently on STEM-OPT and have recently applied for an adjustment of status through an EB-3 green card sponsorship. I have both a STEM-OPT EAD and a new GC EAD issued as part of my green card application. However, I missed a required report for my STEM-OPT, which I'm concerned could affect both my F-1 status and my green card application. Given this situation, would it be advisable to start using my green card EAD to transition away from F-1 status, thus potentially mitigating the impact of the missed report? What are the risks of switching to the green card EAD now, especially if my green card application faces complications or delays? I'd appreciate your guidance on how to best handle this situation to maintain lawful status.

that report doesn't matter. you can use your GC EAD anytime. you have 100% rights to work and use that EAD card

you can use your stem ead till validate date and then switch to gc ead near stem ead expiration. To be on the safe side if for some reason there is issue with AOS you have option to continue f1.
