I strongly recommend that you consider rescheduling your interview. My friend recently went through a very similar situation, and unfortunately, his case was denied just two days ago on September 8th.
Here’s what happened to him:
• He worked for his sponsoring employer for one year and then quit.
• USCIS first sent him an RFE, followed by an interview where they questioned why he was no longer working.
• After that, he was called for a second interview, and ultimately, his case was denied because he wasn’t still employed with the sponsor.
I don’t want you to face the same outcome, so please make sure your situation is solid before your interview. If you need more time to get everything in order, it’s better to reschedule now rather than risk a denial later.

@eric j Do you know if your friend had supplement J with him? If he had one then it is very concerning if they still denied it. I see a lot of people didn’t work for sponsors but still got approved of having supplement J.

it will be better you come to work for your sponsor and ask them the Supplement J.
or go to the big fanchise fastfood company.
However, why the wendy don’t sign the papers for you. Have you talk to your lawyer or the agent who connect between you and sponsor.

@Just A Cat Waiting For GC i know but his case was different wirh a signed supplement j and they denied it they suspect fraud all the questions on his interview was on the reason that makes him quit and never got back to work
Just A Cat Waiting For GCSep 10, 2025
@eric eb-3 I understand and I’m sure we may not know the whole story there. At this point I think it may be because he never comes back or may have relocated somewhere else, or how he responded to them. Do you know if he has worked for other company after quitting and where he interviewed at? I’m not sure if he has a lawyer that could help him appeal the decision. This is sad and concerning to all of us.

@Just A Cat Waiting For GC his lawyer has told him go back to work after he received a medical rfe back in april and then he never listen on his mind he was going to be approved and then his case was denied am telling you the whole story he is my best friend

@eric eb-3 now it makes more sense. I hope his lawyer is helping him fix this now. My best wishes to your friend

@eric eb-3 do you know your friends sponsor and the company? was it BDV?
Sunshine 124Sep 10, 2025
I hope you do have paystubs and w2 supporting your new worker including sup J.
eric eb-3Sep 10, 2025
@GB B yes he was working with arby’s and it was with bdv solutions
Lin OSep 11, 2025
@eric eb-3 So are you saying that your friend went to the interview without a supplement J from any employer?
GB BSep 11, 2025
@rach ho are from BDV?
rach hoSep 11, 2025
@eric eb-3 can you give me some example what fraud the questiones on his interview
GB BSep 11, 2025
@eric eb-3 was your friend working in another company? I saw similiar cases but first one
that I see that was denied
eric eb-3Sep 11, 2025
@Lin O no he went there with a signed supplement j but the facts that he worked for one year than stopped for over a year raised suspicions and they denied his case i wish you all the best just be positive i just wanted to share so however still has the chance he knows this information
eric eb-3Sep 11, 2025
@rach ho just try to pay bdv to find you a new sponsor who signs your supplement j and go work at least 3 pay stubs
GB BSep 11, 2025
@eric eb-3 your friend stopped and then worked for another company? like skilled job?
yellow banana 🍌 Sep 11, 2025
@eric eb-3 hi! is your friend’s Sup J got signed recently or he/she used the old signed one?
Lily CSep 11, 2025
@yellow banana 🍌 I was wondering that today. Do I have to bring Supplement J again on the interview? I brought it with me on the first one (and the officer even said that it wasn’t necessary and didn’t take it 🤷🏼♀️)… now I’m not sure if they will ask that again.. if I should bring it or not… I’ve asked the envoy lawyer, but it has been over 3 years that I contacted them last time. I don’t even know if they will answer me 😂
sami allamSep 11, 2025
@eric eb-3 most likely the first interview he told the off that he will start to work soon and the sec appt they made it to confirm. if he didn’t work then it’s his fault and it’s to be expected frankly.
eric eb-3Sep 11, 2025
@GB B my friend stopped working for the sponsor as the bdv told him you work one year and after he finished the year he left to a different state then he never went back to the sponsor even after he received the rfe so when he did his interview and they found that he worked one year and stopped working for more than a year ago that raised suspicious and they didn’t validate his position as permanent @yellow banana 🍌 he used a recent signed supplement j
eric eb-3Sep 11, 2025
@Lily C if you are currently working at your job take pay stubs and it must be full time 35 hours a week they will validate your case and approves it but whoever works part time or stopped working they have all the right to deny your case but as long as you be working they have no right to deny it
eric eb-3Sep 11, 2025
@sami allam no but the thing is the second interview was in short notice they didn’t even give him time to work the treatment of the eb-3 unskilled under the trump now is totally different is not like it use to be and he received an rfe than haven’t received an answer for about 4 months than receive the interview it was on short notice it wasn’t his fault we all think like he did but at the end of the day if you are working full time and you have a signed supplement j you are very safe stay positive but if you have no supplements j or you are working a part time job this gives the full right to the officer to deny your case i wish you all the best just work your 35 hours a week and you will be fine let’s wish for the best i just shared my friends experience to warn you and my self i been working for a year full time and 10 months part time since it happened to my friend am back to my full time and am pretty sure i will be safe good luck to all of you
yellow banana 🍌 Sep 11, 2025
@eric eb-3 thank you for sharing man!!! You saved us!!!
Lily CSep 11, 2025
@eric eb-3 which FO was his interview?
BDV PUBLIC ENEMY #1Sep 11, 2025
@eric eb-3 All that is still crazy. I know he should have been more careful, but you are not liable to work for your sponsor until green card on hand. There's gotta be more to the story still.
GB BSep 11, 2025
@BDV PUBLIC ENEMY #1 where we can see the info about work for the sponsor after getting GC?
Ben WaltzSep 12, 2025
@rach ho you can find any positional job as long as its not required any skills! its not necessarly has to be resturant or food related! dont rely to anyone bdv or their sponsors! they all doing this on their own interests! always get prepared be ready for plan B!
Ben WaltzSep 12, 2025
personally dont recommend to deal with bdv! i have had horrific experiences! Im so greatful I firgured out myself! dont rely to anybody! Do your own homework! I shared my experience with many new clients! BDV is big scamm! stay away from them! They just looking for your pocket! once you make payment! Its over! find your own sponsor!
Ben WaltzSep 12, 2025
@eric eb-3 thats the issue of many clients dont understand! USCIS dont care about your contract with sponsors! When they open your file they want you to be still offered that position and You full time working! they can approve you even in your first week if your pd is current and they checking your files! Many think is mandatory for working their sponsor for years! thats bs! This is the word of licensed lawyer who working with BDV and Envoy! I have done private consultation their own lawyers!
