Still waiting #orlando
Hi everyone, I’d like to hear from anyone who has been through a similar situation.
I filed my marriage-based case with a U.S. citizen in 2024. I had my interview in March 2025, and everything seemed to go well, but after that I waited for more than a year without a decision.
In May 2026, I received an RFE requesting additional evidence of our marriage. I responded with everything they asked for, including photos, our tax return, and other supporting documents. USCIS received my RFE response on July 15.
Has anyone here been through something similar? After USCIS received your RFE response, how long did it take to get a decision? Were you approved, called for a second interview, or did something else happen?
I’d really appreciate hearing about your experiences. Thank you!

was your I130 approve or none of the documents are not yet approve? I got a RFE for my i130 and in 3 days after submitting response my i130 was approve.

Neither one has been approved yet. They received my response to the RFE on the 15th, so it’s been a little over a week, and I’m still waiting for an update.
