Still waiting for I485 receipt
I485 sent on 10/8 along with 765 and tracking shows it was received on 10/10. But they have not cashed the checks and no receipt # either. Emma just forwards me to status check link which only shows 140 approval.
Colleague who sent around the same time got their receipt in about a week and is going to fingerprint next week.
Lawyer keeps telling me to wait but I'm getting anxious. What if they lost it and we need to file again? With the new administration there is always a chance of retrogression. Anyone in similar situation?

I did
I sent my case on Oct 9th, got a text message October 23 with the case number. October 24 they cashed the checks. Two weeks later I got the receipt by mail

you have Two months till the new administration takes over.
it is very unlikely there will be a serious retrogression for the EB1 and EB2

some people note that it can take almost 2 months for them to get a receipt notice. I have never encountered anyone who had their application lost, but they can be very slow as you’re experiencing. they’re very annoying with their inconsistency. try to wait a bit longer.

I can imagine how frustrating this could be. I also sent in October. it took 4 weeks and two days before I was debited. still waiting for reciept notice.
Based on my personal experience, Be patience, you application fee will be cashed soon.

@Moe Abdul yes. i checked with the lawyer and they assured me the address was correct. i waited for over a year after 140 approval and all the more waiting is killing me 😥

I also submitted mine on oct 10, and tracking showed that it was delivered on October 14. I have not gotten receipt till now. Lawyer told me it takes about 3-6 weeks sometimes before I can get response on my receipt.
