Permanent resident but filling I-765 and I-485 adjustment status??? And you got the EAD too? Wowww! I've married a Permanent resident my lawyer said we can't file for all these, that we had to wait for the approval of I-130.

@heru Son if you haven’t broken any rule you could apply those form all together and do adjustment of status. As long as you are inside the US.

@PHL really? I didn't know that and my lawyer never said something like that! instead he said because my wife was a resident we cannot apply for a work permit nor adjust status.

It's really my first time to hear this, even on the internet they don't say that, and no YouTube video never mentioned that. They all say for permanent resident applying for spouse you have to wait til priority date to apply for EAD or wait til the spouse becomes citizen then you can apply for EAD and I-485

@Heru son my lawyer said the same and she was completely wrong i feel so stupid for believing her, I should of filed for all of them together i waited for 2 year for I-130 which basically if you are in usa u don’t really need it

i am Dec 16, married to permanent resident , got my ead and advanced parole in march and april. Then nothing after that. still waiting for interview to be scheduled.
