Same as mine. will be one year Jan 21st after interview. We sent a case inquiry last month and they said "investigation to backgrounds in still open, background check is required to be completed on all applicant seeking your benefit, ....we cannot provide a timeframe"...please has anyone had the same experience?

I'm also waiting for decision after 1485 interview l got a RFE. response submitted accordingly 4 months ago .
not update, just interview was scheduled. Nov 2021 called USCIS and they said that my case is pending for background check.

that’s crazy to see how many people are also waiting . our I 130 was approved after a week or so after the interview but I 485 no update since then. I know they are backlogged but a year of no update or decision is a very long time. we have submitted the service request out of time line processing and they replied back the case is still pending. no idea when it resolves

wow and it is very frustrating especially when we cannot get a sensible respond. I got my i-130 approval one week after interview too

if they are backlog why are they processing 2021 cases SO fast look at most cases 2021,5-6-7-8 months and they approve what happen to 2019-2020 stop at february cause Match on SO on un 2020 processing

i got interviewed in sep 2019, no single response yet. it is so frustrated to wait that long . i am thinking to file mandamus in federal court.

my lawyer told me they will not process it unitl u file for mandamus because they may forget about ur case or ur file is sitting somewhere down to many files.
