status did no change after biometrics
hello, I completed my biometrics in August and the status remains the same “fingerprints fee was receipt.” my wife did her biometrics and the status changed immediately to “case was updated to show fingerprints were taken.” Has anyone had a similar situation? I’m trying to understand why her status changed and not mine.

don’t worry, when you did Bio, all Bio information would be transferred to USCIS automatically. Many cases will not be updated, and some cases will be updated. It is no big deal, just wait for your next step

same here. Mine still says ‘case received’ even though uscis confirmed my prints were taken and applied 7 months ago. It’s very common, 30% of status updates don’t happen at all or aren’t correct.
