They should give you a paper with the number on it when you go into them.

If a SSN number was created they can give you the number but if not then you’ll need to do the application right there.

no you don't. you'll have to wait until the card is mailed.

isn’t automatic you need to go and ask for! did the same the lawyer told me to wait i couldn’t and i was right SSN officer told me that wasn’t creat anything on my case so i did it right there after 10 days I got my card SSN

@Ray Divine It took exactly about 3 weeks, my case updated to “new card being produced on April 2nd, then April 3rd it said “case approved” and it changed back to “new card being produced” then on April 20th, my case status changed to “card mailed to me” and my attorney got it on April 23rd. I just had no clue and I thought it was being delayed but nope. it just got sent to my attorney’s office.

@Kenia F okay thank you, mine was updated on April 24th to “we ordered your new card” then the 25th to “case approved”. Nothing else after that still waiting. Atleast now I know the timeframe. thank you

@Ray Divine yes it takes about 15 days for them to produce your card. you will have it soon!
