Hello
my SSN was issue June 5 but I’m still having trouble getting it recognized in the system I even confirmed in a video call in order to create my SSA account.
I want to build my credit
is this normal , how can I fix this ?

Yes, this is normal. It takes about six months for it to be updated in their system. After that you won’t have any trouble. I’ve had the same problems when I got my EAD card for the first time.

you are so welcome. Yes, you’ll be able to get jobs, your state ID etc it’s just that when it’s less than six months old, they have to send it in to E verify or uscis to make sure that it is real after the six months. You don’t have to go through all of that. I went through this just 6 months ago when I just got mine and now I don’t have deal with the problems anymore.
