Spouse Add into my application
My green card application (I-485) employment based is still pending and the case was transferred to NBC on april 25,2022, after that no movement in my case.My marriage was held before application to I-485 form.I already put her information as a spouse.
My wife came to USA as an international student last year and she is continue her studies .My question is that How can I add to my wife in I-485 application as a dependent?should I wait for my green card approval? My PD isn’t current yet( PD 11/2020).

Did you receive your ead card? When you filed your I-485, why you didn’t file I-485 for her too?

I already got EAD. when I filed i485 application, in that time sha wasn’t present in USA. she came to USA last year as an international student. I filed my i485 on June , 2021.

You might need to wait until you get your green card to start processing for your wife. You should definitely check with your attorney.

I believe you can file i-485 for you spose later since you already have her information in file. You also should follow 90 days rule for non immigrant visa.

she came here last year , already 6 months passed. is it possible to file i485 application if my PD isn’t current?

you can consult a lawyer to have her interfile as your dependent.

you definitely can. For adjustment of status you have to wait until your PD coming up to file her under your i485. Just keep in mind that you have strong evidence to show USCIS that your marriage is real and legal.
