sponsor for form I-864 has stopped providing financial support
I'm posting here in hopes someone can point me in the right direction. my sponsor for the affidavit of support has ceased all contact and financial support. I cannot afford a lawyer and I'm not even really sure who to go to with this. Does anyone have any advice? I'm located in Virginia, my sponsor is my soon to be ex spouse, a navy vet with 100% disability pay.

@Sam L If you can't get a co-sponsor, you could abandon this case, and try VAWA. If marriage isn't working out("soon to be ex-spouse"), that's enough reason for filing a VAWA petition right there!!
