I129F is to petition your Alien Fiancé to bring them in USA and then get married within on year and go thru AOS. why would someone already married file I-129F along with I-130? You have incorrect information. It is however true that Fiancé visa K1 might get approved earlier than spouse IR1 visa

I think you are the one not fully aware. Go search"who can file I129f?"then come back.

I129f can also be filed by us citizen filing for a spouse overseas. It is called the K3 visa and it allows them to come to the us to wait while their I130 is pending IF it is approved before the I130. If the I130 is approved first then the K3 is void.

I see it is eligible for US citizen to file for their spouses as well! never heard anywhere anyone mention before, my bad!

also, it takes about 6-9 months. I was about to do it but again, you might get your I130 approved before then and you will be charged for the K3 fees. And you will literally do all the paperwork again and submit all doc the same way as i130.

@Brady..I follow a group on fb and lot of people who are stuck on case reviewing filed I129f and got fast approval. All cases are different though.

k3 is free, it doesn't cost as long as you have already filed the i-130

I'm wating for n400 interview,will give it another month then do it if still no action

i filed K3 basically less than a week after submitting i130 and i was approved in 90 days from California

I filled i-129f for a k3 visa few weeks ago. and got the receipt notice but it’s in Vermont where my i-130 is. but Vermont doesn’t have processing time for k3 visa so I am not sure if it helps at all
