SOCIAL SECURITY CARD
I received my Permanent Resident card 1 month ago yesterday but I’m still waiting on the SS card, I went to the SS office and they said USCIS has not updated my status yet. I talked to my Lawyer and she said “wait another month”… I lost a job offer because of it… Did someone had the same problem?
Is there something I can do?

hi Go TO the closest SSN CENTER WITH YOUR PR CARD AND CHECK WITH THE OFFICER IF THEY HAD ALREADY MAKE AN ACCOUNT WITH NEW SSN UNDER YOUR PR CARD. IF NOT, THEY WILL DO IT RIGHT AWAY AND TOU WILL WAIT ABOUT 7-10 business days to be send to you!

@Marie L They told me they need USCIS to update my status because the system doesn’t allow them to process it 😢
