So far
USCIS hires more staffs.
USCIS increases the filling fees.
USCIS uses the chart A for filling.
USCIS extends EAD to 5 years.
There are a lot of changes recently. If they push the PD, I hope they can make it up to June 2022 soon.
If they use this year for backlogs again, We would get 2.5 years backlogs.
Even they try to use up 10k approvals including dependents this year, this year they still have about 20k I-140 approved waiting for Green Card approved or filing I-485.
It is reasonable to be slow. The only hope is if they could increase the annual GC cap up to 280k again for the next two fiscal years 2025, 2026.
Guys, we are really in the most horrible moments of processing time. I don’t see any hope for this year. USCIS is stricter in immigration, they could potentially leave us like this for years. Anyone has any good ideas please comment.

The staffs they hire can't adjudicate cases till couple of years... any new staff hired won't change anything in the nearest future
they have to be posted to consulates to be trained for years

@USCIS IS A MESS Yes, that is for the future work. USCIS seems to make a lot of effort but I could rarely see any approved news recently. Feel like they just stop the work and will get back in the future.

@waiting for gc for every 1 approval you see here... there are hundreds of approvals done for people who are not on lawfully and won't even share their news

Ideas ?
If you are in the US and have the EAD, just work and live like everyone else. Why care about Gc ? Maybe that’ll come in your mailbox next morning. Your American’s life is already started.

That's what I'm doing right now. I was denied once amid panic and tension, my employer decided to reapply and I decided to live my life as normal as possible

@Van Nguyen I wish it could be like in 2022. My friend did unskilled job, his PD in 2021 and he got GC in 2022, very lucky, it’s faster than EB1.
