if youcan get another original one before your interview date, i suggest you do that. dont give them a reason to delay the decision. they could say they lost it or something.

Just go get another original from your county records office. It usually takes a min or so. You can have multiple originals.

Marriage certificates are like a driver's license. A new one isn't a copy of the lost one.

Go to the court county and ask for a certified copy. Bring to the interview and ask the officer to give back the original and keep the certified. No big deal

bring everything u have to the interview. both copies and originals. the officer might not even ask to see anything but then again he might. you just have to tbe prepared
