Should I wait for I-130 confirmation before filing I-485?
I submitted my I-130 & I-130A online back in August. Since we were moving at the time we decided to file the rest at a later date. We now have all the paperwork ready to send off, but I’m just wondering if we must wait for the I-130 to be fully processed or if we can send the I-485 and the rest of the paperwork now as it’s processing.. anyone have experience with this? thanks

An article here on Lawfully says “ For the applicants who are eligible for concurrent filing, their applications are considered to be concurrent filing even if the Form I-485 is filed after the immigrant visa petition, but before the approval of the immigrant visa petition.”
So that may have already answered my question haha

yes, you can apply and make sure you attach a copy of the I-130 receipt. Good luck

file concurrent (all together), all forms at once.
