Should I apply for N-400 with a pending I-751?
I know it is possible and im about to hit the 3 year mark. Some people say to do it and some people say it’s risky. Also, I heard the new administration is not very easy with immigration.
please share your thoughts and let me know your experiences:)

Why would it be risky? What’s risky is to continue to wait for the I-751 to be approved by itself, since the average wait time can be over 36 months. I would rather get it done now, than to wait for the new administration to change more things. When you submit the N-400, you basically force them to process both applications together. At the same time, you get one joint interview for both applications.
And if you do it now, you’re only required to submit evidence for the past 3 years.. Instead of having to submit evidence for the last 5. Good luck!

My personal experience is that I just submitted my N-400 today while I-751 has been pending for a year haha so I’m very fresh on the subject.
