@r e still AT NVC. @Sarah L. after CASE SENT TO DEPARTMENT OF STATE I waited for 14 days then I fill up PUBLIC INQUIRY FORM they responded and e-mailed my NVC case number.

Here, too. We have a K1 Visa, so we don't get process at the NVC. I have my number now and wait that they send the Case to Germany. How far is yours now?

I got a response to my request yesterday from NVC and they said that i don't get a welcome letter because it is a K1 Visa. I just get an information that they forward my case to the US consulate/embassy in germany. Me, ma fiancee and the embassy will be informed when they send it to germany. but today, still nothing. And you have to expect 2 till 4 workdays until the embassy work with that case then.

Hi I'm currently at nvc for k-1 as well
it's been 2 months no welcome LETTER
should I file ds-160 or wait for The status to change to ready or in transit

@juan Navarro We should wait until our Case is ready, for now we can start completing requirements of medical, interview etc. so you can immediately schedule appointments when you receive the welcome letter.

After ready it took 1 -2 days until i saw in my online account on traveldogs, that my passport is now in transit. Email was around 7pm and i could pick up my passport the day after that. So I had my Visa Interview Friday and was able to pick up my passport on Wednesday. I flew on Thursday. Wedding was the week after on Friday and sent alle the stuff to uscis now for the AOS
