seeking advice: I am trying to prepare documents for AOS, EAD and AP proactively. I 693 doesn’t have expiration anymore
since I 693 doesn’t have expiration anymore, can I proactively do vaccinations, medical checks etc? my PD may become current by end of 2024. is there any risk in just downloading the i693 form and start working on it while I wait? me primary and my wife (derivative) will be submitting together, I assume it will be two different filled forms for i485, i765 and i131 for each of us?

@A T t technically civil doctor should file this form for you and you just sign it. There is no risk checking the form and it actually maybe a good idea especially for some countries where TB is widely spread.

thanks I have one more question; when I submit for I-1485, I765, I-131 and I-693, will it be 8 envelopes and 6 checks for my wife and I?

I proactively did the titers and got the vaccinations that were needed. After that, I went to the civil surgeon.

thanks @A K. I think I am going to do the same. where did you do it? does insurance cover Titer procedure? also, even though the date isn’t current, is it possible to go to a civil surgeon and work to get the sealed envelope that USCIS needs?

I got the titers done through CVS and they were covered by insurance. I got all of the above done after I had submitted AOS, EAD, AP and EAD/AP was approved but my date was not current. Luckily, I-693 was completed in Nov 2023 so it won’t expire.

thanks @A K i am curious how were you able to submit EAD/AP when the date wasn’t even current?

I submitted AOS/EAD/AP just before EB1 India retrogressed in Jan 2023. EAD & AP got processed after that, medical RFE was issued late last year.
