Scheduled for EB3 Interview
I just got scheduled for an interview at the Queens Field Office for my employment-based green card (EB category) and wanted to see if anyone has gone through the same process there. How long did it take after your case changed to “Case is Ready to Be Scheduled for Interview” before you actually got your interview date, and what kind of questions did the officer ask? I do not have any dependents .I’d really appreciate any tips on what documents to bring, how to prepare, and what the experience at Queens FO is usually like.

i’ve been in queue for an interview for 5 months now, receipt date is also November 2024… although my status never changed as yours

nope. still “is processing”, although confirmed by dozens of agents that it’s in FO, waiting to be scheduled for an interview..

@Natasha Alp have you tried reaching out to a congressman or senator?May be that could help.How long have you been current in the visa bulletin?

Yep, didn’t help, unfortunately. And I was always current, ROW EB1-C. I’ve been told some cases can wait more than a year to be scheduled for an interview.. hopefully yours will be quicker!

@Natasha Alp I am at Queens FO,notorious for delays.My case got transferred to Manchester on 06/13/2025 (non-local) and then again got transferred to Queens on 08/18/2025.They had me scheduled for interview within 4 days after the transfer in my local FO.This is what emma have been telling me all along.

That’s promising! Mine been in Charlotte (local FO) for 21 days, no news. Beforehand it was in NBC, “waiting to be scheduled”. So you’re still waiting for the interview date?
