I’m so sorry to hear that. I don’t think is gonna be affected your case.. in my opinion. in that case go for 2 weeks, no more than that. I have a friend she’s going with the AP to Venezuela and when she coming back, everything was great, no questions

also I know in general lawyers never recommend to travel w AP, I don’t know why. My lawyer say it’s ok that I can going. stay positive during the travel, don’t panic or scary, god with us 🙏

sorry about Mom but if you are not granted advance parole please don't go!!! you won't be allowed back in. Take heart and wait till you get all your documents needed.

I’m so sorry about your loss, if you don’t have advance parole, you can request for an emergency AP. just call uscis to schedule an info pass to go to your local office. Although lately, people have not been receiving a call back from uscis representatives so some people advise you walk into your local field office and speak with someone there. If you have a pending advance parole application, go with the receipt if you don’t have, download form I-131 and fill it. Go with a copy of your mum’s death certificate, your birth certificate which shows your mum’s name to proof relationship, your international passport, 2 passport photograph. Once you present all these, they should be able to stamp your passport with advance parole. I wish you all the best and may God comforts you and your family and I also pray that your mum’s soul rest in perfect peace, amen

sorry get ur emergency parole and go. same story as mine. a year after my dad’s passing, still didn’t have the GC but this time, I decided to go for his one year anniversary… and after then, I have gone out 4times and not just my country but other places. USCIS will make u loose some moments you wished u never did. I still regret not going for my dad’s funeral till date. just make sure ur case is in good standing, GET a travel permit if u haven’t… and GO! u can work in and explain with docs to show relationship and her death very. if they don’t allow u, wait there till u see someone that ll hear ur plea “outside though”. these people too are humans and they understand…. again my condolences. be strong!!

If you don’t have a parole don’t go..USCIS will say you abandoned your case.. lost my brother in February and my daughter got married and I couldn’t go..so please reconsider..listen to your lawyer.

you can apply for emergency AP, but leaving the country within a parole cars you won't be allowed back in
Shari Aug 2, 2024
you can't go unless u have an Advance parole, whether it be 1 day or 2. you just can't leave the country , you're currently illegal and if u leave without that document u can kiss America good bye

Yana YanaAug 2, 2024
@2022 filer Do not go if you plan on coming back 😔
A TAug 2, 2024
@2022 filer I flew in from Ft. Lauderdale and came back 4 times. I have flown out over 20 times in less than 2 years from different airports on AP.
Don’t listen to @Yana Yana. Just because some people are scared to travel they tell the same to others.
