it is safe to travel. I did last week and got back on Tuesday but I will advice you should check the time frame of ur application because it seem too neat for any decision right now which can be dicey. has ur i360 been approved ? think this through but it is 100% safe.

me & you i360 is pending. Sam Thomas yes just one a year ago that they received.

must not visit till your approval and it’s too close to call . don’t take that risk buddy , just wait till your decision coz someone got deported back last month sadly .

safe to travel, but the only thing is, if you got approval no any issues, if they request RFE or any indent to deny then you will be in big trouble.

@Start Spot getting an rfe or NOID means his case is still pending and he is still hood to travel and return. he won’t be in any big trouble. stop scaring people! the only time you would have issues is if your case was denied while you were away! RFE or NOID doesn’t mean your case was denied! there’s a difference!

@Dee Dee it's not about scaring people, it's not that easy when people get RFE or NOID especially when people are out of the country, need to be ready for everything.

Don't listen to scary advice, 100% is safe to travel with AP only thing if you don't have a criminal record. Have a good trip Barry

what’s the time line?

I was scared to apply for Advance parole for the past 4 years and I missed major milestones of my son's life abroad. I was scared because a lot of people and USCIS said it's a 50:50 chance of reentry. 2 weeks ago, I was tired of being scared and applied for AP and it got approved. I traveled out of the U.S. and returned within a week. No problem at all. You will be subjected to a secondary check where you may be asked questions about your case(how you got the AP - pending i485, Your ex-wife's info, reasons why you filed Vawa). After that, they will stamp your passport and let you in. I understand that people may be scared. I was also scared for 4 years. If your case is solid, travel. There won’t be any issue.

@Krish90 krish… Sorry to hear that.😕 Do you know that person why he got deported? as you mentioned the immigration officer noticed his was out of status? I believe he’s VAWA case was in process or pending state? how did that officer findout the person was out of status ? could you please provide some more information about the person and resone for deportation? I have the similar case and wanted to travel abroad with AP? any information will be appreciated !

@Krish90 krish sorry your i360 is taking forever, I have the same fear as I am getting close to 40 months with 1 RFE(year ago) I think it has to do with background check in India which is super slow. I have the feeling it’s gonna take forever for my case as well.

@Krish90 krish did u send an inquiry as why it’s taking time in ur case? after certain date you can do that right or take a help of local congress in ur area so they can ask them.

very safe just came from india punjab it was my first time

it is safe, my cousin did it two months back. but he had past asylum pd by judge. His asylum case wasn't approved just to be safe he choose to go through nepal. but yeah it is safe. if you don't have anything else like that in past go for it.

Can someone help me understand if I can travel with my Approved VAWA (no decision on i-485 yet). I have an approved work permit under C31 category that came after my my CAWA was approved, And I also have Advance parole document under C09P valid until 2024.. Is it safe for me to travel overseas without an approved greencard?
