RTD is approved right after couple weeks GC approval
Hi everyone, RTD is approved but I must say that I put in a service request through USCIS like two weeks ago that my case is outside of normal processing time so they approved it today. Good luck to you all.

@Stewie Griffin tbh same with me since I already received my travel document this January and my family and I were originally planning to travel to Turkey but unfortunately we cancelled the travel plan because we realized that traveling outside US is risky these days

@Stewie Griffin Hi Stewie! I have a quick question for you! After you received your green card, did it come out with the year that you applied for green card on your card or the year that you received it after approval? For example, if you applied for it in 2024, will it come out with the year 2024 on your GC or with the year 2025 where you got your approval on your card? I hope my question makes sense for you

@Aya Musa So one year back from the day I got approved for example, if I approved on June 5, 2025 but the issue date will be June 5 2024, so that’s why they always have to ensure there’s one year gap between case approved and green card decision.

@Stewie Griffin oh okay, that’s what I expected because I heard this kind of rule where they will issue one year back from the day you got approved to make it easy for people
