Hi everyone, my vawa got approved Oct and my I-485 was moved to another USCIS office. I got a letter for requesting for initial evidence but my attorney refused to show me what was in the letter. He only asked for my current address and to get my medicals in a particular clinic. Does anyone have or had similar cases before and what does it mean.

if I may ask, why will your attorney refuse to show you your own letter? Are you not paying for his service. well it could be rfe for your medicals but if I were you, I will insist on seeing my letter

@F A i think it's because the letter was sent out since Dec 24 and he called me on Jan 24. Pretty sure he didn't want me to get angry. And I stopped checking my case cos I was depressed for a long time and my heart rate was high.

@Chi N after medical the fact that it was transferred to a local field office, u will wait for them to schedule your interview. it's basically a waiting game

@Chi N your attorney has no right to deny you access to USCIS issued notice. Go and get the notice from them. They can only keep a copy in their file.

@Shari after medical, it could be either an interview or an approval directly. it’s been mostly direct approvals.

What if your case wasn’t transferred to your local office but to MO and your medical RFE was requested from Missouri?

@Oh Yeah mine was transferred to MO and not my local field.
