rfe vs rfie
hi, is anybody familiar with the difference between rfe and rfie (request for initial evidence)? my status was updated to rfie today (my assumption is that it’s for i485j, since i forgot to sign it), and i was wondering if this might mean an even longer delay than a rfe

I received the same 'request for initial evidence' 7hrs ago for my I-485. Not sure what it is yet. just need to wait till I receive the notice.

@m r , I suppose they sent out this RFIE in bulk. Mine too was a request for I485 Supplement J.
