RFE submitted but not updated
I submitted my RFE which was delivered last Friday 08/14/2026 per the USPS tracking. The deadline for to submit is today 08/17/2026. USCIS has still not updated my case online and wondering how this is going to affect my case. Will they update the case to βRFE response received β with the date the submission was delivered or the day they actually upload the case in the case which would be the after the deadline? Has anyone faced a similar situation or know how this work. I have contacted USCIS via their help center but they say they canβt tell if they submission has been received or not.

they will update to RFE RESPONSE RECIEVED. When i contacted USCIS then. i was informed most officers use the postal stamp date i.e. the date you gave USPS but its still depends on officers. Just wait for about 1 week it should be updated.

@Nii β did you consult with a lawyer for RFE or did you response yourself? Iβm finding a lawyer/legal help to help me file the RFE. but no help.
