RFE regarding medical exam form
Dear community,
I have RFE regarding medical exam form, even though I submitted it when I file I-485 in Feb 2021.
I think that this is because of the new format of I-693 including COVID vaccine.
Is this COVID vaccine requiring only two doses, or additional 3rd dose of booster shot as well?
I am asking because I got all three shots, and my spouse didn't get booster shot yet.

is it for you or your spouse? the rfe and i think all 3 are needed im not sure because i only got 2 and when i called the immigration doctor assistant she said we will need the booster shot to

For both me and my spouse. They are separate but identical RFEs.

All Forms I-693 signed by civil surgeon on or after October 1 2021 must use the 09/13/21 edition of form. Earlier 2 doses but better to take the 3rd dose as well.

My i693 was signed in July, and i did not send it with my other forms. I will submit at the time of interview. Do you think they will also send me an RFE?

No.The new form applies on October 1 2021 onwards

Bee S, if you are in EB category, I think that your interview will be highly possibly waived. Some people didn't get RFE with previous I-693 forms, but others got RFE because of the previous forms of I-693. I think it's random.

Just saying, I interviewed recently and I had my medical submitted with the original forms, they did not send me for an RFE,
But still during the interviewer they asked for the medical forms and thank god I took the latest form with vacination details. He saw there and approved.
Its bettter to take the latest with vacination details and not give them a reason to ask for RFE/delay the process

Yes, latest edition is 9/13/21, and mine was submitted in February 2021 with previous version. And this latest form should be used by the people filing on or after 10/1/2021.
