RFE
I was wondering if any one has experienced this, I filed Vawa July of 2021, , I got a notification that an RFE was sent on February 2022, I waited for two weeks, I never received it. proceeded to make an inquiry, followed by writing letters to them, and asking my congressman for help, they told my congressman inquiry has been received, and that was it. I never got any update from VAWA .Last week Wednesday I did an inquiry again, two days later, USCIS updated via case tracker, that case has been assigned to an officer for response. So all I am doing now is wait.
PS: My lawyer said the first RFE notification may have been a system glitch , as none of us received it. I don’t know what to believe, but I trust God to take care of this.It has been a traumatic experience.

@vee k I filed in March 2022 my first lawyer received my rfe because all he had filed for me at the time was a shell application. I took my case from him an he refused to give us the rfe letter. my new lawyer an I reached out to uscis inorder to get another copy nothing happened. April 2023 my new lawyer did an amendment and put together a proper package. up to this point no update all I know is that it was delivered. no PF nothing.😓😓😓

@teddy k 🥲that’s really frustrating. how can a lawyer be so wicked? I pray we get a positive news soon. Hang in there .

@vee k it is a hell of a ride. but I’m trusting God to just come through for all us.whatever we went through was horrible enough and then this side of it just add more stress an strain.

I had similar issues and my new lawyer , ask that I go do a background check and police character ,and also had 2 witness testimony to it which was mailed back to them. and I got a notice that My Rfe was received.
