RFE on eb2-niw
I received an RFE on all 3 prongs for my eb2-now last week and feel like my petition was not read at all. The RFE didn’t mention any specific documents I submitted but made a general statements.
1. On prong 1 submitted Congressional acts set up to fund research in biomedical research and articles on the gap and why my field of research was necessary. The US government have a whole initiative on this called the brain initiative. Yet the RFE said I didn’t show national importance
2. On prong 2 I submitted articles I am working on and the ones I have published (I have a masters in mathematical sciences, and currently a PhD candidate, I have engaged in research’s in this field etc so I have the skills). The RFE recognized that it’s been cited but yet said I have not demonstrated that I can advance the endeavor.
Has anyone felt this way and how did you go about it?

@Nii Officer just gained time by issuing RFE.
My Lawyer is not allowing me to do PP at this time my PD is Sep-2024. I asked many times to get PP but he warned me about RFE.

my RFE hit all three prongs. Try to use chatgpt or claude to make as best response as you can. don't rely on attorney to make a good rfe response. you should do your job. This is atleast my experience. and I hope you the very best. 👌

approved. completing phd in cs, 23 citations at the time of filing, 4 pubs. premium processing

I also received my RFE on day 44 of my PP. We also think the entire document wasn't read because they're asking for everything that's already in my package. They also asked if I have companies interested in hiring me. HOW CAN I HAVE COMPANIES when with EB2NIW I don't need a sponsor? And how am I supposed to apply for jobs without a work permit? That doesn't make sense.

hello Ivana, in my case we presented 3 companies when they showed interest in my project, and it is an interest to collaborate with me. maybe you can try to get one of those latter similar that I got
