RFE Not Received in the Mail
I received an update for Employment based I485/EB2/PD-07-2012/India on 07/05/2022 Request for Initial and additional evidence for my self and dependable spouse.
I received physical mail on 07/11/2022 requesting SUPPLLEMENT J from LA field office. Spouse didn’t get physical letter so lawyer generated SR and her status changed from RFIAE to Finger Prints taken.
I replied RFIAE on 07/15 and USCIS status changed to REQUEST FOR EVIDENCE received on 07/19/2022
On 07/21/2022 status updated to REQUEST FOR INITIAL EVIDENCE sent to my self and spouse case but neither of us physical copy of RFIE by mail.
i chatted with Emma and transfer to live agent and she said, there’s no RFIE in my case and USCIS didn’t request anything which is pending and she escalated issue to Tier 2 officer and ask me to wait until 30 days and I will be contacted via Email/Phone.
Does anyone here in the same situation? I really don’t know what’s going on in my case. My lawyer said there are chances of USCIS mistake and they will correct eventually. I am losing the patience as there’s no timeline from here.

Call USCIS, say infopass to speak to an agent, then request they send the RFE copy to your email.

In order to better assist you, I will be submitting a request for you to be contacted by a Tier 2 Officer. Please allow up to 30 calendar days to receive a response by phone or email. You will receive a text message and/or email 1 to 2 business days before we contact you.

what was specifically requested in the requested for initial evidence? I got an RFIE too

The RFE was related to Birth Certificate and sponsor company’s ownership details.

If it says, Request for Initial Evidence then it would be pretty simple and most likely related to birth certificate or medical but if the Request for Additional Evidence then it could be anything else. There’s difference between RFIE and RFAE

It means mine is a combined request as it states, "Request for Initial and Additional Evidence". Waiting to get it in the mail.

Yes. I received multiple RFE because I got update like Initial and Additional Evidences. Unfortunately they messed up my case by issuing my dependent RFE under my name.

Not yet. lawyer needs more time to research and respond. Hopefully in coming week.
