hi how did you get your interview waived

I called them gave and asked them my case status that’s it

I didn’t receive any RFE yet

If you didn't receive an official notice about your interview being waived from USCIS, still keep it in the back of your mind that you'll have an interview.

same field office. my PD is 10/2021. they also told me the interview is waived but got a call from a tier 2 officer (from putting a service request) that my case is in line for an interview. don’t believe them when they say interview is waived. Newark is extremely slow. it’s about to be a year for me. they are extremely backlogged!

@ JJ 485 how did you request a tier 2 officer for a call back? last time when I asked they said, Call from the Tier 2 officer is only possible when your case is out of processing times which is 17.5 months.. Also when did you get your EAD?

guys if your case is marriage base please don't believe nothing about interview waive until it say i485 approve it's been awhile now they telling alot of people the same thing it's just to keep people from calling them so much common sense if interview is waive why not approve the case right away

@sunshine I just asked and the agent put it in for me. try requesting a call from supervisor that may also work

@@ J J 485 did the tier 2 officer called you the same day?

no about a month later

@ JJ 485 did you know he’s going to call on that particular time or you received his call randomly

2 days before they sent an email and text saying I should be receiving a call in 24-48 hours

@JJ I got a call from tier agent after 5 today I was so shocked because I didn't expect it the agent told me my case is at fo now and my interview been waived my case is still processing so I need to wait until they contact me my fo wait time is long as hell can't do nothing but wait we see if interview waive

@tas smith may I know when did you filed ? And did you receive an EAD? I had filed in March 2022 but still no EAD, they said my interview was waived in July.

my first case file March 2021 my lawyer refile again March 2022 same cases same petitioner she say whichever one they get to first

but the update I got was for the first case

Any reason to refile again? Also your interview is waived for 1st or 2nd filing?

was in removal then case was dismissed i485 was filed at that time send all paperwork to texas we didn't hear nothing out of them case just stuck so she refile with all the paperwork my interview they say waive for the first one but for the pass month now I keep getting notifications about fingerprint updated on the first case so am not even sure what's going on

@JJ thanks but with my fo I doubt that as far as interview been waived we see although my case is ir5 I think they are not doing enough for family base green card they making these cases harder than they are

I agree tas. I have a similar case. I was in removal. got it dismissed. I filed i-485 Dec 2021. July they said interview was waived (not true) contacted congressperson they told them they will adjudicate my case in 90 days still nothing yet. I will keep you posted field office Newark, NJ all the best

they are lying to us interviews are NOT waived

I am in similar situation filling date is February 7th 2022 still not received EAD OR AP too
