RFE for Medical - I485
I have an approved I-140 petition (EB1C) and then filed my I485 in September (9/2). I had my biometrics done on 11/1 and today I got an RFE for my medical exam. It is asking me to mail in my medical exam to the USCIS office. Does this mean they will not need an interview? I’m employment based.

probably so, if you’re filing for someone else you’d might be interviewed
fc jcDec 14, 2021
Thanks! I’m filing for myself

If you’re filing alone. most times your interview will be waived

To know that your interview will.be waived is when your home state is different from the state in which the FO is. If they tell u to send documents to a FO that is not close to u or in a different state that indicates that they r just processing ur case and no interviews will be dine. was in the same situation. Can u share ur state and where they ask u to send those documents. Good luck hope all goes well.

Hey! sure, they have asked me to send documents to an FO in Florida and I am based in New York.

Hi - mine asks to send it to NBC. Does it mean I will have an interview? My FO is Boston. EB2-NIW. My I485 was parked at TSC until last month when it was transferred to NBC.

Most probably they are waiving interviews for employment based applications these days. A fried of mine who filed the medical with the application got approved in 5 months without any interviews.
BTW you are a lucky man, i am same category, older priority date , NBC, filed on July and had biometrics done mid October but still waiting for the next step. 😀

no it is not related, I have a fiend that had a same condition but after one month he received the letter for interview and after interviewing, he has not heard about the result after 3 months
