RFE after interview
My wife and I had our interview on March 8, it went well and I was told to submit my school transcript, we received the notice and we responded immediately. since March 17 case still shows we receive your response, USCIS has begun working on your case again. We will send you a decision or notify you if we need something from you.
How long does it take them to make a decision?

don’t panic I’m exactly in the same situation but the difference is that I was handed the rfe from the officer the day of the interview which was March 9th and I answered the rfe 5 days later and also it was hand delivered to her so we all waiting hoping for the best🙏

Has anyone tried using a congress person to fast track uscis decision? if so...how long did it take? I was told a congress person can also help in such case.

naaah trust me they don’t do shit(excuse my language) I have a mandamus lawsuit open so they still got 30 days to give a decision on my case

@Don success, are you adjusting status as a student or what? because i have never heard of RFE for transcript.

@King Tee, the interviewer only requested it bcos during the interview he noticed I transferred to another school, so he demanded for the transcript to see if I meet the requirement for F1 student

hi same boat here. Interview march 25th and rfe handed in interview. sent back in April 1st but status never changed on RFE received? nothing yet. please let me know if u have any change

My interview was on 29th of March in Newark NJ.
from F1 OPT to AOS.
Did you get OPT after graduating? If you did, Did you submit that with your application?

nope I didn't get OPT, I got my work permit so there was no need for OPT
