medical is only valid for 2 years if you submit it before November 2023. so you will be asked for RFE

@SJ 97 @Feb 21 @Cristina Ruggi thanks for your advice. should I prepare it now(before I have the rfe letter). To save time, I been waiting for too long

I suggest you going to surgeon now since your Pd is about to be current . it takes time to schedule an appointment and update the vaccines and getting the labs results. I received my RFE for exam and it took me 2 weeks to send it, they approved my GC the same week

@pat vas Lets say I did my medical exam from a surgeon in a different state than where I live now. Would you know how to transfer those vaccinations and medical records from previous doctor? could you please share if you had to take new vaccinations?

@EB3 Unskilled If I were you, I would wait your status change to RFE sent. That’s what I did. Then, I went to renew my exams and take the shots. The exams got ready in one week and it was exactly the same time a received the letter in my mail.

@deb guj There’s no way to transfer the exams. The surgeon that will be signing your form has to be the same surgeon who request the exams. The vaccines are not a problem. You just have to show the original vaccination card to the surgeon that is going to request new exams.

@EB3 Unskilled I hope it is an RFE for medical. Go ahead and schedule your appointment with a surgeon listed on the uscis website. you will have to get the physical exam again, take your vaccines records with you and the doctor will tell the ones you will need to take.
