An RFE is simply a request for more documentation. In my case was because one form was missing.

I don't think I will need it. I only wanted to know

You don't need it. The uscis need it from you. The meaning is: we are asking more proof about your marriage or other documents because we are still not confident about your case (relationship if is marriage based)
