Vawa approved 25 days ago, 6 days ago card C31 was mailed, received yesterday and yesterday night received update on I-485 that RFE was sent.

I am hoping it is for Medicals

I called civil surgeon to book an appointment for medical and got to know from them USCIS has sent Medical RFE’s to huge number of applicants and they have got 100’s of calls to book appointments for medical examination and they are completely booked until end of May.

@Approved Vawa You are following me lol I tried to talk to USCIS information specialist they said I will have to wait until I receive the notice they cannot provide me with the information cause they don’t have the access to Notices.

@divine intervention I asked congressman to expedite, they said my case is still under normal processing times but they will try to reach out to USCIS, never heard anything from them but I see the update for RFE. So I am not sure if it is because of the expedite request or I just got lucky lol.

I don’t even know if they have filed an expedite request on my behalf.

yes I sent in expedite request but never got a reply. I already did biometrics last week. I’ll mail the rfe back same day I get it 😂 how long will it take for the rfe to get to me?

@Approved Vawa Hmm smart. I was going to get it done as soon as my Vawa got approved but my stupid attorney told me to wait until I get the Notice 😡

@March 2023 look for another location. Go on uscis website and see the list of approved surgeon in your area. enter your zip code, if fully booked which I doubt, put the nearest zip code to you. There are lots of them out there.

@F A I live in a very isolated area, USCIS website shows there are 11 places nearby I called each and every place, 5 said they are not doing medical examinations for immigration anymore.. 3 said they only do it to their patients, not taking new patients. 2 said they only do it on Wednesday’s which is why they are booked until May 20 and July 10. 1 no response. Next nearest place is 90 miles away but I don’t mind driving there if they have immediate availability.
