I’m not clear. Are you saying they requested these documents, you never sent sent them but they still made a decision?

They requested I sent it and decision was made.

I strongly believe they will mail your documents being that they're originals. I think there's a delay or something.

@Kh A USCIS requested for original documents after filing the initial application and I have a letter to prove it. They did no interview in our case.

@Realler I don't understand how no interview was done but a decision has been made.

@Williams most employment based categories do not require interviews

I’m not the best person to ask. I’ve done some googling and, apparently, that form was needed in past. Currently, it’s only needed to request USCIS to return you docs that they never asked for. So in your case they are supposed to automatically send you originals back when they don’t need them anymore. If you don’t get them soon, I would consider talking to the attorney first. Read G-884 instructions and do some more research too

you need to file form G 884 to request the original of your document. that happened to me before but I got mine back at the interview though

OJ is correct, you have to file for the return of documents.

Realler Boat ~ USCIS will return your original documents. They did that to me. I made sure to write a cover letter w/a list of contents, to let them know I knew EXACTLY what I was sending them! I was paranoid that they would lose them. lol It took a minute, but they did send my originals back to me in the same condition I sent them. Good luck! Oh! And I never got an interview, & I never sent a request to get them back, they mailed them directly to my house.
