I did so many things. Denied I-824 expedite request twice, sent physical letter to the USCIS officer at CSC where my I-130 was approved, sent messages from online account multiple times requesting them to send my petition to the NVC, asked help with ombudsman and congressman, talked with these stupid agents none were helpful

I think inquiry from the Senator might have worked. They did inquiry for my I-824 on November and NBC responded at the end of December stating they’ve requested the officer to review my application and decision will be made within 60 days. My case sent to NVC after 2 weeks from the NBC response.

I'm sending an application to uscis they ask me how many dependents I have, it's me and my daughter. Do I have to count myself too?

I will sponsor a family member for a visa program

@jerry, I think you only count depends since you’re a sponsor. It would be 1 depend in your case. Please check with others as well. Just came out of the hell because of minor mistake.

@Badri, yes I filed i130 online and received welcome on the same day of case was sent to the NVC

FYI, my I-824 is also approved yesterday, day after case was sent to the NVC

@fk fk how did u sent requests to them? i am trying to do that also moreover my i824 is in potomac and theres no option i can see the processing time of i824 in potomac.

did you mention embassy separately on the form i824? there is no specific column for that? how would they know the embassy?

I already mentioned that on I-130. I mistakenly also provided City and State in US for the adjustment of status which I should’ve left blank.

did you have to file i130 with i824? am a B1 with approval on i 140. for EB2 NIW
