it took over 2 weeks for me to get the email that they received it just give it some time

I expedited exactly 2 weeks ago I-765, due to USCIS' clear error. Did not even receive an e-mail. Emma support says that I cannot reise another expedite until someone decides on the existing one. What is worse, my receipt is from a month ago, and cases from last week are being processed... So, they are just ignoring mine.

I have a financial reason. graduated and ended my student job. have a job offer that had me starting a month ago but I have had to postpone it multiple times.

Did you get any news?

i submitted first expedite request. medical issue our child is in heart failure and needs to be moved asap. 2 months pending no emails. I submitted a new expedite request because the other had passed processing time. was given reciept number and told 15 more days. I’ll update if anything changes. best of luck y’all. everything seems to still be moving very very slowly.

wow, they are delaying that, I have no words...

no response so we’ve been patient . i just hope someone in charge has some sympathy and processing it asap. I don’t want to be pushy but for us it literally is life and death. we need this expedite. I hope y’all get responses and if so please keep us posted. as I will.

They have people who are there for these purposes- to help you with federal agencies. You are eligible, definitely. You will fill out a form, so they can reach out to USCIS on your behalf. They are usually very responsive and helpful. And you have a very compelling reason.

I am going to take your advice. I am desperate. so the worst they can say is no. I whole heartedly appreciate the direction. this is genuinely good help. thank you.

@heather yes please contact your congressperson. I was advised by a friend who used to work at uscis. she told me that people get these people involved all the time to expedite their processes. good luck!

@jk no news as of now. The lady at the call center said I can open a second expedite request but that would reset the timer for my response date so I didn’t do that. I am planning to have the congresswoman help soon.

What would then be the point of your second expedite... all this is soooo stupid! I have involved a senator a month ago. And someone finally responded this week. They just gave information on why my initial filing was rejected (same what I could read in the notice). The time USCIS used for digging through old files, and answering emails could have been used to actually process my applications. So, nothing happened with my cases yet either... Monday is holiday, so I guess that we cannot expect anything before Tuesday...

Hello, I got an email today saying they are received my request to expedite. now they are going to take a decision on it.

Based on other fora, it seems that you might get your decision tomorrow or early next week.

today and 5 am I got the email my expedite request was approved and nvc will be recovering my case. it took 3 expedite requests . but it worked. I’ll keep y’all updated on how long it takes for nvc to schedule. thank you everyone for sharing your experience.
