Hi, it happens to me and when I get there to get the biometrics, I just had to take pictures and I didn’t have to do the fingerprint again. I really don’t understand why I had to go there just to get a picture taken. After that my 131 status changed to fingerprint applied but my I765 keep showing “your case was received”

Hi, same situation. I recently applied to renew my husband’s and daughter’s ead and travel document and both of them received biometrics appointments. I haven’t received the notice yet, informing the dates. But I think that it’s a normal procedure. Last time they had it was in 2019…

Condidering that we sent the application 16 days ago, I think it was really fast, at least 😅

It is good to know I'm not alone 😅 I think they are doing this just to make the process longer. My friends all received their renewal in couple weeks. I think there are a lot of people trying to renew now.
