Request for intial evidence.
hey family …I recieved an update on sept 21 that I was mailed a request for initial evidence . It has been 8days now and I have not recieved the Request for intial evidence sent to me for my i485 In the mail … I don’t know what it is and have not recieved it yet .. tension getting worse whew.. was told if I don’t recieve it by oct 6 to reach out to them bla bla ..how long does it take to recieve this in the mail .. as least so I can be settled in my heart😢.. will appreciate your responses.

if it's for I-485 then it's medical. I received mine in 10 days. Patience and start calling civil surgeons and ask for prices

ok thanks much I am worried for i never got an RFE throughout this process so far ….hence my worries I don’t know how long it takes for RFE to come in the mail .. I was thinking it is taking too long ..

@lily rose I haven’t seen the RFE they sent but I went to do my medicals just incase so it won’t be delayed. I got the notification just like you and waiting to receive the physical copy.

update on this .. I have recieved the RFE today it was for birth certificate and medicals and it came in an orange paper .. happy now that I know what it is .. thanks much for calming my anxiety ..
