Renew Drivers license with an extension receipt notice?

Hello Fam, Can you renew your drivers license with an extension receipt notice (180 days) EAD? My drivers license expires in May 22, 2024 as per my work permit and now am wondering if i can renew it by showing them my receipt notice with extension statement. please advise. Thank you!

try calling and asking! For example where I am at, they need a physical card, they won’t accept approval receipts or anything else unfortunately
