@mohammed m, what is your FO and what was your priority date for your i-130? did you have a i-485 AOS application as well?

@ mohammed m, Not applied, as I don’t have approved i130 yet. What is your field office, If you have applied for i-485?

I got proceeding terminated with pending I-130 (however I had tps approved). Termination took about 2 months - might have happened sooner but my lawyer told me that they lost the first motion and he had to refile.

@mohammed m well, judge’s clerk told my legal assistant that they “misplaced” our motion and instructed us to refile it (which is pretty ridiculous…. but I’m dealing with U.S. immigration system so I’m no longer surprised by things like that).

patient is the key in this process. Termination process can take anywhere from weeks to months. nothing you can do.

@USC IS, My attorney just terminated my case in two weeks although she took longer to submit, don’t know why. The court was very quick to respond.

@d k, I don’t want to speak for for a lawyer as every case is different. I would suggest talk to few of them and compare. For me, money wasn’t the issue. Issue was someone I could trust and depend on.
