when is your next court hearing ??

I don’t have a court hearing. uscis administratively closed my I-485 bc of my removal proceedings. so now I have to go to immigration court to terminate it with an I-130 approval.

did you check through EOIR WEBSITE about any hearings?? if you don’t have court hearings then why USCIS administratively closed i485??

I check with my A number and it say case not available. my removal proceedings was never terminated, It was just administrative closed. two different things.

I don’t know what to say, try hard to make sure if u are still in judge docket or judge just admin closure of ur case.

yes the judge admin close my removal proceedings since 2015. right now my lawyer already send the papers to immigration court to terminate my removal proceedings based on an I-130 approval.

according to people on here it take weeks, and relax judges this days happy to termination better last administration instructed them not to terminate.

yeah I know it was crazy during last administration. they was deporting everybody.

did uscis approved your work authorization while they close the 485? or you have nothing at all

yes I have the work authorization that was approved last week

this is my timeline to try to help you: 7/14/2021 - We have sent the Prosecutor's Discretion Request to the government (DHS) 7/23/2021 - The government has agreed to file the case so we can seek adjustment before USCIS. 07/26/2021 - Sent the Request for Denial to the Judge of EOIR Orlando. (It was the worst part because it took a long time to wait, with no possibility to verify or track anything) 12/08/2021 - The Judge finally granted the waiver request (It was in December but the EOIR system just updated on Feb 20th , and I just received the decision document from the judge on February 08. 02/10/2022 - I sent the over the request to USCIS Orlando to schedule I-485 Interview (Waiting USCIS reopen my case since this date).

I’m in Orlando too so hopefully they’re not that bad in Orlando

UPDATE: they finally terminated my deportation case. what do I do now to reopen my I-485.

@arnaud congrats ur lawyer will schedule info pass to deliver the judge decision to uscis

@aydot is it something I can do myself or the lawyer has to because he’s charging a $1000 to reopen the I-485

u can actually do it urself, what am not is if the termination deliver to uscis can reopen the case or manually filling to to reopen.

is there a guide to do it bc I really don’t wanna pay a $1000 for something so easy

just call uscis and schedule infopass the reason is u wanna deliver IJ decision to ur field office, but they want u to wait for 30days. the reason why they want u to wait for 30days to make sure their is no outstanding appeal.
