so guys I think they might have placed me in removal proceedings while my vawa is still pending. I checked my inform delivery and I see a piece of mail coming from the department of justice immigration court in Miami.

3. When WOULD someone be put in proceedings?
While it is rare for a pending petitioner, there are only a few specific triggers that could cause USCIS to issue a Notice to Appear (NTA) in immigration court:
• Serious Criminal History: If you have convictions for "Aggravated Felonies" or "Crimes Involving Moral Turpitude" that were not waived.
• Final Denial: If your I-360 is officially denied (not just a NOID, but a final denial) AND you are in the U.S. without any other legal basis to stay.
• Fraud: If USCIS finds evidence that the marriage or the abuse claims were intentionally fabricated.
you must be one of these, so do not circulate wrong information here
because you are facing proceedings
