removal dismissed and i-485 EOIR .
My removal proceedings are terminated with prejudice, and I-130 is approved, and transferring I-485 Adjustment of Status from EOIR to USCIS.
I've been talking to USCIS, ASK, EMA agent, and I called the USCIS 10 times, and they kept telling me your case is at local field office, and we have sent your inquiry to local field office, and they are responsible to adjudicate your case. And I just made an InfoPass appointment. What would happen next?

@huss . I was in the same boat around this time last year.
just go with your documents. Termination letter , I-485 receipt notice , I-130 approval notice , copy of the info pass appointment notice and any other documents that can support your case.
no interview and no big deal an officer will be assigned to attend to you and get all the documents. Probably your case will move more faster from that point I guess. Good luck .

@Bolinton Bolinton Hey friend! Do you happen to know if interview is needed for i 485, if i 130 was approved on prior interview? Is it better to adjudicate case with ucsis or judge? Still in removal proceedings due pending asylum, next hearing is for may 2026. Thanks in advance

@ Huss : you don’t have any issue there is nothing to be afraid of since you have all your documents to show that your case is in process. I went with all of those too and after the appointment I was scheduled for interview two months after .

ok

@ free lancer : yes expect an interview but if you get approved without an interview you’re lucky. secondly, adjusting your case through USCIS is better than court . it’s better not to have a case at all than to have a genuine case . judge decision is the final but at USCIS appeals are allowed I stand to be corrected though.

@Bolinton Bolinton Appreciate you response friend. Would you mind sharing with me, how it was for your i485 interview with USCIS? Same like for the i130 or different? Thank you so much
Bolinton Bolinton Feb 12, 2025
@ free lancer : No interview for my I-130 . as for the I-485 I had an interview all questions were basically about my info and how I met my spouse. we went in together and serious questions just yes and no questions kind off. it lasted for about 15 to 20 minutes.
