Has anyone actually sold their assets and gone to wait in the country try their spouse lives in while the I 130 is processing? Seriously considering this if it is an acceptable action.

@psp _ the way they handle cases is completely incompetent. We made it to the end of our case specific quoted processing time and they jacked it up by 6 months. Then we make ot to the end of that and they increase case type (everybody's) I-130 processing time. Not to express so much negativity but I'm feeling like when we get to the end of that one, they will pull the rug out from under us again. The current quoted processing time would put us around November or December for decision time, yet when I FINALLY got thru to messaging a rep they estimated around May 24th 2024 "but things can always change". She was as helpful as she could be. I was just glad to finally have contact with a real human being.
If anyone needs to know how to evade Emma, ask super general questions like "How long will this take?" Don't mention specific key words that trigger that stupid auto response like "I-130" or "processing time". Takes about 3 tries and she routes you to a rep.
